Tour Plan
Your tour begins with a pickup from your hotel in Cairo or Giza by a deluxe air-conditioned vehicle.
Travel south to Saqqara, located about 25 km from Cairo, where Egypt’s oldest pyramid stands — the Step Pyramid of Djoser, built around 2650 BC by the architect Imhotep for King Zoser. This pyramid marks the beginning of monumental stone architecture in ancient Egypt.
Explore the Mastabas of the nobles, including the Mastaba of Idut and Mastaba of Ptah-Hotep, both renowned for their beautiful wall carvings and scenes of daily life. Visit the Pyramid of King Titi and the mysterious Serapeum, a network of underground galleries containing massive sarcophagi used for the sacred Apis bulls.
Continue to the Imhotep Museum, which houses fascinating artifacts discovered in the Saqqara area.
Next, visit Memphis, the first capital of ancient Egypt, where you’ll see the colossal statue of Ramses II and other impressive relics from Egypt’s earliest dynasties.
Finally, drive further south to Dahshur, home to two of Egypt’s most important pyramids — the Bent Pyramid and the Red Pyramid of King Snefru. The Bent Pyramid is remarkable for its unique double-angle structure, while the Red Pyramid is considered the first true pyramid ever built.
After your visit, return to your hotel in Cairo or Giza.
